This Magnetic Loop is light, only 1.5 lbs, and quick setup and pack, great for POTA, SOTA, home, or camping use, or even clandestine stealth operation. Comes complete with built-in tripod, with legs that are attached to tuning section when setting up.

This antenna is truly a breakthrough - the size and weight for portability is truly a step forward from two piece magnetic loops of the past, and the built-in tuner uses a unique tuning system. Construction is top quality to ensure long life in both wet and dry climates.

Unlike some magnetic loop antennas, tuning is quick and easy, based on experiments at trade shows with tuning by attendees. Even easier with MMX Nomad TUNE feature! Antenna is rated for 100W PEP SSB, 50W CW, and 25W digital, an easy match for PreppComm transceivers. Connection to your rig or feed line is via native male BNC, or PL-239 via an included adaptor. For use with the MMX Nomad or other MMX transceivers, an SMA to SO-239 connector is required. Product is shipped from a separate location, and shipping cost is included in the price.

The antenna can be operated indoors or outdoors, however better results will be attained outdoors. The antenna is 20" in diameter.
