MMX-ZERO

Good thing happen here! They immediately replaced my damaged Lid for my brandnew MMX-ZERO bundle with new lid and Im happy for that appreciate it.

Rommel, I sincerely apologize for your issue getting lost. No excuse, but I can say we are working hard to make our customers happy. I thought I had handled this, but searching my email, I don't find my response or my request for a new lid be shipped to you. I will take care of that today. Thank you for your order, and correct me if I am wrong - but it appears from your photos that it is only the lid that is damaged.

This is not for everyone

Excellent workmanship, the touch screen works good, my family got this for me for Father's Day. It wasthe package anf it had everything needed to hook it up to my different radios. I've tried it on these five radios. Yaesu101MP, the Icom 7760, 7610 and 7300. The 101 has a built-in decoder and it probably works 50% better than the MMX ZERO. Even adjusting the tone offset as required, which is really way too high for my ears, and since it doesn't decode that well anyway, I really wanted to be able to hear the CW. The tone is just way different than any normal CW operator would listen to, almost out of my hearing range.
However like I said, it's not for everyone, some may enjoy it. It has some very interesting features which certainly would appeal to some.
Many times I can't even get it to copy a simple CQ call, And I use the space bar every time I come on into a new station so it has a chance to get used to the CW.

Set up an operation problems

This is a wonderful incredible piece of luxury. But the problem that I see is that even Eric is focused on com radios and has no intention. It seems to expand the technical hook up and usage of theprep comRadios with other manufacturer transceivers using the MMX zero. Very frustrating as there is no direct source for melding the two pieces of equipment together without a lot of pain.

Great quality

Works as expected. The RPL makes it even more useful. Community is very helpful in learning how to use the system.
